SENDI KERTA NUSA
The proposed design for the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) in the new capital city of Nusantara embodies the Indonesian principle of Gotong Royong, serving as a vital nexus between the Bank of Indonesia, OJK, and LPS itself. Five key design principles shape this vision. Three imaginary axes converge at the site's center, metaphorically bridging the gap between the institutions. This convergence forms a symbolic bridge, while also functioning practically as the entrance plaza, fostering connectivity and collaboration. Diagonal axes delineate the boundary between the built environment and nature, creating a balance. The design preserves a significant open space to the south, facilitating dialogue and connection with the verdant landscape. Inspired by the graceful silhouette of temples, the three buildings cascade along the sloping topography. This arrangement ensures a seamless integration into the capital skyline, evoking a sense of cultural continuity. Analogous to the network of organisms, the design emphasizes efficient connectivity between divisions of LPS. A network of linking bridges at various levels facilitates seamless movement and interaction, enhancing the institution's cohesion. Elliptical cores, akin to the structure of human spines, serve as the backbone of the building, housing essential functions such as elevators, toilets, and mechanical systems. Positioned on the northern side, these cores optimize space utilization while directing the main activities towards the south, fostering a deeper connection with human occupants and the surrounding natural environment
